Seven Ponds Farm is located in Summit, NY, which is a fairly rural area in the Western Catskills. It is a pretty beautiful 3 hour drive from NYC and NY/NJ suburbs in the fall, as leaves will be just peaking. It’s a 3.5 hour drive from Boston, and Albany, NY is only 1 hour away. For the baseball fans, Cooperstown is 45 minutes away. There are at least a dozen ponds on the property, so we aren’t exactly sure why it’s called Seven Ponds Farm. We’re okay with that.

Yes. We got you. We’ll be coordinating shuttle transportation to and from Seven Ponds Farm for the ceremony, reception, and after party, and you can always make your own plans to get to and from the venue if you so choose.
(For the other wedding-related events, we recommend driving or using a ride share.)

It’s great, thanks for asking. If you are driving yourself to Seven Ponds Farm, you’ll find plenty of free parking on-site. The parking lot is a short walk to the ceremony and reception area, and you’ll be able to go back to your vehicle at any time if you need to.
Please note Seven Ponds Farm is truly a farm, so the driveway and parking lot are not paved.

We really want everyone to look (and mainly feel) their best at our wedding. For the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we’re suggesting semi-formal attire. For everything else, anything goes.
Remember that this is a tricky time of year weather-wise. Hoping for September-like warmth. Planning for possible October-like cool. We suggest you do the same.

Tell us about it! When you RSVP, there will be an option to note it, and of course you can always shoot us a an email or text.

Check your formal invite when it comes. If it includes a ‘plus one,’ heck yeah, bring a date if you want.
Kids are welcome at our wedding, too. Just let us know if you plan to bring them so we can make sure you all have what you need to have fun.
Because Seven Ponds Farm is not fenced in, because dog dynamics can be as complicated as human dynamics, and because we want our guests to be able to be fully present during the wedding weekend, we’d prefer you not to bring your pup to the venue for Friday or Saturday’s festivities. -
We’d prefer to have a phone and camera-free wedding ceremony. Take this opportunity to be present! Happy-cry with us! We’ll have a professional photographer capturing photos and want to see your beautiful faces in those, not your phones.
Feel free to take as many photos and videos as your heart desires during the welcome dinner, cocktail hour, reception, after party, and the rest of the weekend, of course! -
COVID sucks. And since we love all of our guests, young and old, we’d like keep the risk of spread to a minimum. We ask that all guests are vaccinated and if you’re not feeling well leading up to the wedding weekend, it would be smart to take a test before joining.
